Double premiere at ISH: the world's leading trade fair for HVAC + Water opened its doors for the first time from Monday to Friday. And for the first time, Flamco, Meibes and Simplex presented their new brand strategy. At booth B05 in hall 9, the visitors experienced the advantages resulting from the interfaces of this strong partnership at first hand, for example when entering the newly developed Prefab Boiler Room Unit - the exhibition highlight.
"What belongs together, grows together. And the visitors felt that," says Diem Kemper, Head of Product Management and Marketing of the "Hydronic Flow Control" Group, to which the three sister companies within Aalberts N. V. belong. In the course of a reorganisation in the next few years, these will be bundled under the Flamco umbrella brand in Germany, too. In line with the international model, Meibes and Simplex will be retained as product lines. "We want to use the synergy effects resulting from the cooperation and the consolidation of our product portfolio and pass them on to our customers as added value", Diem Kemper continues.
The newly developed Prefab Boiler Room Unit, an external boiler room that can be individually configured as a complete solution and is delivered prefabricated, symbolised this. The unit exemplifies how the individual components work together harmoniously – as "flowing compositions", in accordance with the trade fair motto.
Visitors were also able to explore further new products. These include the new membrane with which Flamco will equip its Flexcon Premium expansion tanks. Instead of rubber, it is made of thermoplastic polyolefin: a material with only very low permeability, which makes the membrane particularly sustainable and durable – there is a 15 year warranty on it. In addition, Flamco introduced a new generation of air and dirt separators. The XStream products set new standards in efficiency.
Meibes presented new models from the core segment of interface stations, including the Logomatic 2.0. The compact, ready-to-connect decentralised interface station with electronically controlled hot water preparation and heating room supply now also offers the possibility of connection to smart home or building management systems. With MeiTronic, Meibes is also introducing a system controller for the regulation of up to two heat sources. Due to intelligent prioritisation, this offers many advantages, especially when using renewable energy sources. Because it is weather-controlled, the device automatically adjusts the heating output to the outside temperatures. Pre-programmed circuit diagrams, a setup assistant and intuitive operation make the installation and use as simple as possible.
Simplex presented the Secos control system for surface heating. The innovative manifold simultaneously records the volume flow and the temperature of the heating medium digitally as well as permanently. The flow rate is regulated as required and the hydraulic balancing of the heating zones is carried out fully automatic.
The range was topped off by the Flamconnect system, to which all new products can be connected. Via app connection, it helps with the initial setup as well as with the fault detection and removal. "One solution for all applications: From now on, our customers will not only receive the entire product range from heat source to heat emission to heat distribution from a one-stop shop. The service will also be bundled," concludes Diem Kemper. "The ISH was a real premiere for us. The reactions we received from visitors to our stand confirmed to us that it was a success".
Nicolai Ebert, Productline Sales Manager at Simplex, presented the Secos control system for surface heating. The innovative manifold simultaneously records the volume flow and the temperature of the heating medium digitally and permanently. The flow is regulated as required and the hydraulic balancing of the heating zones is carried out fully automatic.
At the exhibition stand, visitors had the opportunity to get to know new and established solutions during product demonstrations.
Were pleased with the positive response from visitors to the stand: Diem Kemper (Head of Product Management and Marketing "Hydronic Flow Control" Group), Maarten van de Veen (CEO Flamco Group), Thomas Schleep (Overall Sales Manager Flamco Meibes) and Helmut Vollprecht (Managing Director Simplex)
Meibes introduced the LogoDistrict for local and district heating from its core segment of interface stations.
Other new products include the new membrane for the Flexcon premium expansion vessels from Flamco. The thermoplastic polyolefin material has a very low permeability and is therefore particularly sustainable and durable.
From the heat source to heat emission to heat distribution, Flamco, Meibes and Simplex cover a broad spectrum of innovative building technology systems. This internationally active group of companies has specialised in technical products and systems in the fields of installations, heating, cooling and solar solutions. The sister companies belong to Aalberts N.V. of the Netherlands.
